Small bowel volvulus with large mesenteric defect in paediatric patient: An unusual presentation of acute abdomen

Introduction: In children, internal herniation with small bowel strangulation due to the cause of a mesenteric defect is rare intestinal obstruction. So early diagnosis and treatment in paediatric emergency department are important factor for this disease.Aim: This case report, aim study volvulus large paediatrics patient, which very rare.Method materials: A male child 2 year 8-month-old came our institute complains abdominal pain, vomiting (bilious) not passing stool days. On radiographic findings shows that, gaseous distension loops upper area paucity gas lower abdomen. Primarily patient vitally stabilized plan operation. Exploratory laparotomy done closed. Gangrenous segment resected end ileostomy distal mucous fistula formation. Patient discharged successfully on 6th pod.Conclusion: Early these patients. The most step disease acute obstruction sign symptoms like- tenderness, guarding rigidity also painful So, it Internal should be considered differential diagnoses abdomen Paediatric Emergency Department.
